Abstract

This collection consists of photograph album plus some loose photographs of and by Frances Anderson.  The photos are taken at various schools she attended or taught at plus various other locations.  The photograph collection contains 107 photographs.

The Frances Anderson Collection consists of a small photograph album plus some loose photographs.  The photograph album is black with a cloth covered paper covers and a string tie.  It is approximately 6” x 9”.  The album contains photographs of Frances Anderson, friends, family, and students at various locations she was a student or teacher at and/or visited circa 1910s to 1930.

Series Scope and Content Summary

This series contains photographs of Frances Anderson, family, friends and students at various locations.  She went to school at Notre Dame High School in Saratoga, CA and at the San Jose State Teachers College (1923).  She taught school at Roseville, Gilroy and finally at Mintie White Elementary School, Watsonville (1927-1928).  There are also photos of various recreational activities specifically the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.  (107 x Photographs)
