This collection consists primarily of materials related to Vivian Rostron. It also contains materials related to the Aichberg (Eichberg) family who were the foster parents of Rose Aichberg, Vivian’s mother. Rose Aichberg married George Henry Rostron having children Vivian and Marcella. Included in the collection are correspondence, personal journals, family documents, and memorabilia. The collection primarily reflects Vivian Rostron’s interests, livelihoods, and education.The Rostron Family Collection consists of a variety of materials relating to family life, interests, pursuits, and livelihoods from the end of the 19th Century to 1999. The collection also contains materials from the Aichberg (Eichberg) family as they were Rose Rostron’s (Vivian’s mother) foster parents. The bulk of the materials was generated from 1960s and 1970s, and includes correspondence, personal journals, family records, ephemera, and news clippings. Materials primarily reflect Vivian Rostron’s education, organization affiliation, finances and church.
