This collection consists of a war cruise map and a war time diary of Richard Trenbeth. The map is primarily of the Pacific region. The diary covers his time in the ROTC, military training, and service on the LST 828.The Richard Trenbeth Collection consists of a war time cruise map for the LST 828 from Biloxi, MS to Pearl Harbor and then back and forth across the eastern Pacific. Richard Trenbeth also wrote a war time journal of his experiences in the ROTC, military training, and on the LST 828. There were additional items donated that are in the objects collection including a scale model of an LST and Richard Trenbeth’s uniform.
