This collection consists of approx. two hundred sixty-one (261) stereopticon views taken by Marcella Booth and donated to the Museum of Art and History, Santa Cruz by M. Booth and Frances Carson in 1982. These stereopticon views consist of two photos mounted side by side on cardboard or thick paper for use through a stereopticon viewer through which the photos would appear to be one image. Some photos date from the mid 1940’s-50s.The views are primarily of scenes from places throughout California, such as Yosemite and Big Basin. Scenes outside California are mainly of Oregon.
