This collection consists of three (33) boxes of items belonging to the Dye Family. Items in this collection include approx. one-hundred fifty or more photographs from the early 1900’s through the 1920’s depicting members of the Dye family engaged in various activities, in group shots, or alone. Other photos include photos of the ruined San Francisco City Hall after the 1906 earthquake, photos of William and Grover Dye’s barber shop, and more. Other photos include about seventy or more photos of Bruce and Charlotte Dye in their mid-twenties or thirties and in their senior years camping in the 1950’s with their camper-trailer, or golfing. Also in this collection are about thirty postcards exchanged between “Della” (likely Della Dye) and “Mabel” to Mr. and Mrs. Augustus, to Bruce Dye, and William Dye; as well as a 1921 San Francisco Chronicle issued agenda and account book full of recipes. Date range: 1900-1960’s.
