This collection consists primarily of materials related to and collected by Dan Dickmeyer. He was born in Fremont, Nebraska, settling in Santa Cruz in 1972. This collection contains materials documenting his political and community activism primarily concerning the environment and the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered Community. He collected locally published newsletter and pamphlets. He was also a co-founder of the Lesbian and gay Men’s Union at Cabrillo College.
