Collection Number: HS
This collection consists of one box of items belonging to the Cooney family of Santa Cruz, CA. Items in this collection consist of a Mysell Company No.62 Yale Binder filled with approximately fifty (50) double-sided and single-sided pages of photos, often accompanied by quotes, phrases, and poems. Other items include photos of a home on Ocean Street—likely the Cooney home; a photo of Yosemite Valley dated 1919; photos of the San Diego Exposition of 1936, and more. There are also about six (6) postcards in this collection such as one of Mission Dolores in San Francisco; and two (2) of individuals boating or attempting to drive on flooded roads. Another item of interest in this collection is an approx. 3×2” tin type of three women and a gentleman posing amongst driftwood and a beach scene studio backdrop.
